I'm Jen and originally from New Hampshire but have lived in North Carolina for the past twelve years. I'm happily married with two dogs and work as a medical assistant. I stay active by mainly running and walking, I'm very slow, but I'm just happy that I'm out there. I've had two knee surgeries on my right knee and was told that I wouldn't be able to run long distances. I recently ran/walked my first marathon in November at the New York City Marathon. I've been blogging about my experiences at jenhaught.blogspot.com for a few years now.
I’ve run on and off since junior high school, but I really got into running when I heard about Team in Training in 2009. A family friend passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma and I wanted to do something to honor his memory (you can read his story here.) So, I signed up with Team in Training and decided to run the Disney Half Marathon. Since then I’ve tried to do at least one half marathon a year.
I've struggled finding the right sports bra due to my bigger chest, especially since I run so much when I'm training for a race. In 2013, I ran three half marathons in three months and with the all the extra training I had chafing and support issues. I saw a review on the best sports bras in Runner's World and I decided to try them out. I feel 100% comfortable in my ENELL bra because they are supportive, easy to get on and off and comfortable! I love my ENELL sport in black, but I have to admit that I'm looking forward to getting the ENELL sport in
Dazzling Blue! It is such and fun and unique color!
